The Secret of Monkey Island
The young Guybrush Threepwood arrives on Mêlée Island with a very specific dream: to become a fearsome pirate. To be taken seriously by the local pirate leaders he must pass three tests, including duels, treasure hunts and a decidedly risky theft. The problem is that his enthusiasm far exceeds his experience, and no one on the island seems willing to make his life easy.
Between the port, the forest and the residence of governor Elaine Marley, Guybrush discovers a world populated by swordsmen, merchants and tales of the terrible ghost pirate LeChuck. Meeting Elaine gives his ambition an unexpected direction, while a threat from the sea transforms his trials as an aspiring pirate into something much more personal.
To follow the new route he will have to get a ship, find a crew and learn to get by with what he has in his pockets. The journey to the mysterious Monkey Island begins like this: with little means, a lot of nerve and the feeling that, in the Caribbean, even the most absurd solution can have its own logic.

Guybrush is no longer the boy who just landed in Mêlée: now he has an adventure to tell and never misses an opportunity to remind everyone he meets. His new obsession is Big Whoop, a legendary treasure that promises to consecrate him among the great pirates. The search starts from Scabb Island, where the overbearing Largo LaGrande keeps the inhabitants under his control and makes it difficult to even leave the island.
To get back on the road, Guybrush must confront old acquaintances, resort to voodoo and collect clues on a map divided into several parts. The hunt takes him between different islands, each with its own rules, its own interests and characters who are not very inclined to spontaneously deliver what he needs.
In the background of the search, LeChuck's shadow lengthens again. Between parties, libraries, shipwrecks and unlikely businesses, the adventure mixes the freedom of exploration with a more restless atmosphere. What Big Whoop really is, and why all those fragments deserve so much effort, remains the mystery to be pursued.
The game sheet →The Curse of Monkey Island
Adrift in the middle of the sea, Guybrush reaches Plunder Island just as Elaine Marley faces a new attack from LeChuck. The reunion seems like an opportunity to leave the troubles behind, but a ring chosen too lightly unleashes a voodoo curse: our hero's romantic gesture becomes the beginning of another emergency.
To help Elaine, Guybrush must discover how to break the spell and get back to sea. You need a ship, a crew and a route to Blood Island, but in the Caribbean none of these things are achieved without bargaining, tricking someone or solving a seemingly meaningless problem.
Between duels with insults, theatrical performances and encounters with pirates with questionable habits, the journey alternates bright atmospheres and places full of mystery. LeChuck continues to loom over the quest, while Guybrush tries to prove that his knack for making disasters can, at least every now and then, come with a good idea.
The game sheet →Escape from Monkey Island
Guybrush and Elaine return to Mêlée Island after their honeymoon and find a welcome that is anything but festive. Elaine has been declared dead, her position as governor is in jeopardy, and even their home is at risk of disappearing. Reestablishing the truth seems like a simple formality, until Guybrush discovers how stubborn the Caribbean authorities can be.
While Elaine tries to regain control of the situation, Guybrush finds himself faced with paperwork to sort out, new islands to visit and adversaries who have very specific plans for the archipelago. The rich Ozzie Mandrill wants to transform the world of pirates according to his own interests: to the threat of old enemies is added that of a future made of business and tourist attractions.
The research leads Guybrush on the trail of a power linked to pirate traditions, among banks, swamps and places where the past still seems to have a say. To defend Elaine and his way of life he will have to face conundrums, rivalries and new forms of bureaucratic absurdity, while preserving what little dignity he has left.
The game sheet →Tales of Monkey Island
Guybrush Threepwood would like to put an end to LeChuck's threat once and for all. But in the Caribbean even the most heroic plans can take a disastrous turn: during a new clash with his enemy, our fearsome pirate inadvertently causes the spread of a voodoo curse. The contagion threatens the inhabitants of the archipelago and transforms a much desired victory into the beginning of a new problem.
Separated from Elaine and landed on the singular island of Flotsam, Guybrush must first find a way to get back to sea, then look for a cure. Capricious winds, uncooperative pirates and characters with intentions that are difficult to decipher await him. Between old acquaintances and new encounters, finding your way requires much more than a good map.
The adventure develops in five connected episodes: each stage opens a new route in the same great quest. Ironic dialogues, unlikely objects and puzzles accompany Guybrush on a journey where voodoo is a constant presence and his proverbial ability to get into trouble knows no respite.
The Tales profile →Return to Monkey Island

The Caribbean has not remained still waiting for him: new pirates are coming forward, the balance has changed and some old acquaintances have other worries. Between LeChuck's return, meetings with Elaine and the characters that animate the port, Guybrush must figure out how to get a ride and get back on the trail of the mystery.
The search takes him between familiar places and new islands, biting conversations and absurd situations.
