Rumours of a new Monkey Island
After years of silence, finally something new! This news appeared on the Multiplayer.it website: "In recent days, news has been spreading online of the possibility that a new chapter of the famous grotesque/pirate saga Monkey Island is in the works. This is a series of disconnected rumours, deriving from what appears to be an indiscretion leaked by some members of the staff working on the musical compositions of the game, but as Lucas Arts is working on a series of important projects, among which (so rumors) a title for Wii, the announcement of the fifth chapter of the series would be postponed to 2008. The rumors were somehow fueled by the publication of three artworks credited to Steve Purcell, which however would not be officially linked to a new pirate project, as it was logical to assume, completely denies such rumors but we, well, well... who wouldn't want to hope for it beyond all hope?
