One passion, two destinations
The good thing is finding someone who gets the joke
Monkey Island has a special talent: leaving much more than a good solution in the memories. What remains is a shot of the port, some music, an unlikely face and that answer that, even after years, comes naturally to utter. The fan page Monkey Island starts from this common language and puts it back into circulation among enthusiasts.
His presentation immediately enters into the spirit of the saga: the aspiring pirate, the three-headed monkey and the famous "Pappapishu!". You don't need a long explanation to recognize the tone. It's an open door to those who grew up with Guybrush and to those who are now discovering why so many pirates continue to talk about pulleys, grog and sharp answers.
An image rekindles the memory
The “Photo of the Day” column invites you to stop on a scene and recognize its details. It is the pleasure of finding a familiar place and realizing that someone else remembers it with the same affection.
Nostalgia still has curiosity
Alongside the images there is space for reels, curiosities and materials on the game. A deleted scene from The Secret or a post that imagines The Curse remastered become opportunities to look at the adventures from another perspective.
The conversation continues
The value of the page can also be seen under the posts: memories, preferences and responses intersect. Texts in Italian and English appear in the contents consulted, a small bridge between people who have sailed the same Caribbean.
Because we like it
We love the way an image or question brings play back into everyday conversation. You don't need to wait for a new chapter to have something to share: even a known scene can open a different memory for everyone. The logo celebrating 50K conveys this idea well: behind the number there is a crew that continues to recognize each other.
This is the meeting point that we wanted to place alongside Monkey Island Site: a place where the visit can continue through dialogue, a joke and the pleasure of meeting other enthusiasts.
Shared route
The site holds the stories. The crew tells them again.
From this passion was born the collaboration between Monkey Island Site and the Monkey Island fan page. The site collects characters, islands, music, insights and memories of the saga; Facebook and Instagram become the social meeting points for our community.
Two landing places to visit following the same curiosity. You can get lost among the pages of the site, reach out to the crew to share a memory and return to explore a new route. The journey continues thanks to the people who still want to tell it.
